2023/2024 Fundraisers and Events
Kenilworth Community Preschool relies on fundraising to keep our tuition low and build our community. Here are some ways to support our school this year
Dine-Out Days
We partner with local restaurants throughout the year to raise money for our school.
- Sept. 25th, 5-8 pm – Burgerville on 25th & Powell
- Oct. 21st, 4-9 pm – Hopworks Urban Brewing on Powell

Our Spoke and Word fundraiser runs from December 1st through 7th! Mention KCP when checking out and 15% of the profits will be donated back. This includes in-store purchases, special orders, and gift cards purchased in-store and online!

Reading & Crafts with Teacher Kara
Saturday, December 7th

Join Teacher Kara for a read aloud and fun crafts on the last day of our book fair fundraiser!
2024 Wreath Sale
Our school sells hand-made wreaths and other holiday decor. This year, we have parted with a new farm, Willamette Evergreen Wreaths, Located in Mollala. This has traditionally been a very successful fundraiser for our school. These wreaths will make any room smell amazing!
BottleDrop
A new opportunity for KCP this year is BottleDrop!
1) Pick up a blue bag or two from KCP. Make sure you also pick up the same number of stickers as you do bags. Unfold your bag and stick the KCP sticker in the labeled sticker box on your blue bag.
2) Fill your bag ONLY with empty Oregon deposit containers. No trash. Glass, aluminum, and plastic can all go into the same bag.
3) Ensure your bag does not weigh more than 20lbs. If it is too heavy, split your contents between multiple bags
4) Do not crush your cans or bottles
5) Cinch the bag fully closed and tie it
6) Drop your bag(s) off at your nearest BottleDrop center or BottleDrop Express (to find your nearest BottleDrop, click the link https://bottledrop.com/locations/). Please do not return bags to KCP
KCP will receive the credit, and you’re done! Pick up another bag and do it again!
If you already have a personal BottleDrop account and would like to donate those funds to KCP, you can do so by logging into your BottleDrop account, searching Kenilworth Community Preschool here https://bottledrop.com/donate-nonprofits/ and allocating your funds.

To support our school, please select “Kenilworth Presbyterian Church”(make sure it is in Portland, OR) as the charitable organization. All funds received from Amazon by the church are set aside for our school.

Past Events
2024 Pie Sale
Kenilworth Community Preschool has partnered with Willamette Valley Pie Company for our annual pie sale.
Pies are locally made in Silverton, Oregon and arrive frozen, with baking instructions. Think Thanksgiving, Christmas, and even New Years!
2022 Plant Sale
Kenilworth Community Preschool has partnered with Tony’s Garden Center for a hanging basket fundraiser.
Families will be able to choose from an assortment of beautiful hanging baskets as well as gift cards. Orders will be placed in the spring, with deliveries just in time for Mother’s Day.
